Who we are

Lighthouse Security LTD is the data controller for Lighthouse Security Alarm. [Registered address, company number and contact email — TO BE COMPLETED.]

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, mobile number, password (stored only as an argon2id hash).
  • Optional: emergency contact name and number; medical notes, which you choose whether to include in alarms.
  • Precise location: only while an alarm you raised is active, and once during setup to check location works. We never track you in the background.
  • Device information: browser type, platform, push notification subscription, last-seen time.
  • Alarm records: when an alarm was raised, cancelled or resolved, who was notified and who responded.
  • Security logs: IP address and user agent for sign-ins and administrative changes.

Why (lawful basis)

To provide the alarm service you asked for (contract), to protect your vital interests in an emergency, and for security (legitimate interests). Medical notes are only shared with your explicit consent. [TO BE CONFIRMED BY LEGAL REVIEW.]

Who sees it

When you raise an alarm, the members of your team(s) who receive alerts get your name, phone number, location, address and map links, and anything else you have chosen to share. Our email, hosting and map providers process data on our behalf. [List processors.]

How long we keep it

Alarm location data is deleted after 90 days. Account data is kept while your account is active. [TO BE CONFIRMED.]

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict processing. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). [Contact details TO BE COMPLETED.]
